Chester, PA – Markos Hantsoulis extended his dominant freshman campaign on Saturday, securing his fourth consecutive javelin victory as the Montclair State University men’s track & field team turned in a series of solid performances at the Paul Donahue Invitational.
How It Happened
- Javelin Throw: Hantsoulis led the field once again, launching a winning throw of 63.31m. Teammate Gabe Dayon placed 11th with a mark of 50.86m.
- Long Jump: The Red Hawks placed two athletes in the top five, with Elias Hanley finishing fourth at 6.80m and Sheldon Agyemang close behind in fifth at 6.75m.
- Hammer Throw: Montclair added two more top‑ten finishes as Jabri Joseph (40.90m) and Neo Bernabe (39.82m) claimed sixth and seventh place.
- Sprints & Hurdles:
- Jahmir Beal clocked 10.94 in the 100m to finish ninth.
- Aosuuta Wynn posted a 22.49 in the 200m.
- Jesse Baidoo recorded a 57.69 in the 400m hurdles.
